About me

Cover letter. Petroleum Engineer with 30 years of experience with onshore oil, gas fields (Western Siberia, Gabon and Nigeria). Vitaly’s expertise coming outside Shell, where he obtained a solid background in geology, drilling/workover/WL/SL/CT operations, reservoir treatment and integrity management. Vitaly was one of the key players in SPD’s subsurface field team at the drilling phase of the project and is successfully managing SubSurface Field Team (14 positions consisting of both russian and expatriate staff: Well Site Geologists, Petrophisisits, Production Technologists (Petroleum Engineers) and Data Specialists) at current maturation stage, facing challenging operating conditions. Vitaly introduced Shell’s best practices while working for Shell Gabon WRFM Team and especially in integrity management (was an Integrity Focal Point). Was able to broaden his knowledge in hydrocarbon maturation during his assignment in Nigeria and while working for the Value Creation/Front End Study Team. Keen to establish truthful and reliable relations with colleagues and subordinates to align team targets. Eager to liaise and collaborate with other disciplines. Able to work independently with some guidance. Attention to safety is making a clear impact and active leadership in the Safety Culture programme is well recognized.
